Around Rugeley From Old Photographs: A Further Selection offers a captivating glimpse into the history of Rugeley, providing the reader with a visual representation of the town’s intriguing and chequered history.
Drawing upon an eclectic collection of over 200 photographs, Joan Anslow presents the reader with an insight into the past and present life of this busy market town. Although views of thriving High Streets, vanished buildings and well-known houses are included, the emphasis throughout is on the people who were born, or settled, here.
Around Rugeley From Old Photographs: A Further Selection provides something for everyone, whether they have lived in the Rugeley all their lives, or whether they are just visiting for the first time. Many poignant memories are given a new lease of life and, for those who still remember, this charming book offers a trip down memory lane; for others it will be a voyage of discovery.
