Directory of Leeds (Out Townships) in the year 1861. (A note for people who are researching Leeds Central, Leeds Central is available on another CD ROM together with some other Towns & Villages, Leeds Central is NOT ON THIS CD
THE AREAS COVERED ARE LISTED BELOW
This CD ROM lists Private Residents, Trades People and also offers plenty of information concerning the infrastructures of the Towns and Villages in this period.
Anyone researching their family tree in the Out Townships of Leeds circa 1861will find this CD Rom extremely useful in their research.
A note of caution, please be aware that as with all of our CD ROMS even if you know for certain that a relative was living in a particular place at a particular time it does not automatically follow that you will find them in a book from that time and area.
These CDs don't just contain the elite, there are plenty of folk of average standing in the communities, builders, butchers etc, but not everyone opted to go into these publications, it really is a matter of chance, but great fun looking !
